Just got out of a meeting that was supposed to happen last Wednesday. Got rescheduled to this morning and again basically didn't happen. So this co-worker put on a performance on a night shift and left near the end of the shift, abandoning me and the floor (the dementia ward at that, the roughest floor to work on). Apparently traumatized by working with me, though sounds like addiction to me or she's just that psychotic. The first meeting she never showed, we're sitting there and it's 10am, then 10:30, still no show. So management calls her and you can hear her yelling the f word about being woken up and that she was told she was suspended, that means she doesn't have to go. Management tried to explain to her this was a scheduled meeting, she confirmed through email, she'd be there and is now yelling about management having no consideration for people by calling and calling in the morning. Today she just no showed and wouldn't answer the phone, she actually made a voicemail message that says the phone service has been disconnected She agreed to meet this morning again and never showed. Management basically said she's done at which point I stood up and said I'm done with this issue as well and I'm probably done here. I walked out after that. My next shift is nights on Wednesday. My phone is blowing up right now, since its going through the building I 'quit' and they're begging me not to go while I have already texted some of my other friends/ins at other facilities who have fallen out of their chair at the thought of having me work for them. Despite my issues with management, I've built quite the reputation. So now its just deciding what to do. I don't do drama, I don't do games. At least this much is over.

 

I'm glad the Eagles are on a bye week, they sorely needed it That's awful as they looked against Tampa Bay.

I hauled wood and did outdoorsy things, the rain is arriving and my wrist is griping at me, so I’m having a good hot soak in the bath.

Sitting in a delightful little café, waiting for a firmware update to be done on my gear. (Low-key terrified something’ll go wrong with it since I often have that kind of luck.)

I often wonder how far I could go if my bike actually moved and I wouldn’t get run over.

 

In my usual state: irritated; disappointed at a turn of events.

Come to think of it, I'm uncomfortable when feeling happy or what passes for it, and/or things are going well: I know it's got to end, and when it does, it'll be ugly--and the longer it goes on, the uglier the end will be. That, and I'm accustomed to being in a sour mood for one reason or the other. In the end, entropy always wins.

 

Well it was some day, but I am currently getting ready to go to school in the morning. I just found out my youngest niece wants to take me into school for show and tell tomorrow before the thanksgiving break lol I was at my sisters, she wants me to put on the body paint and not only that, she wants to be painted up as well just like me lol When I paint myself up to go somewhere, I paint the right side of my face (and have a matching contact colour wise) then I paint my neck, chest, down the right side of my body to maybe my hips and my right arm. So I'm going to spend the next couple hours making a small (princess themed) battlevest and patched out pants for her.. I don't know if she'll wear that much but worth a try... I hope she gets enough sleep, shes way too excited right now as it is.
